The members of the international jury had the difficult task of selecting the winners from 192 applications, all standing out for their high level of creativity, authenticity, and sustainability.
The Honorable Mention for “Best Creative Lodging” – was awarded to La Cité des Électriciens – France.
An innovative project aimed at converting a mining town into a place in which heritage, culture, and tourism are closely linked. It also strives to convey values of participatory education, sharing, and involvement of residents.
